Customer Review: v. effective!!
I first used the tea while on the master cleanse/lemonade diet (I did the cleanse to determine food allergies- not lose weight). It was very effective but did cause some mild to strong cramping each time I took it. I recently used it to… well, get things going and it worked… but again it caused painful cramping. Luckily it only lasted about an hour.

In general, it takes about 6 to 8 hours for the tea to take effect but on an empty stomach it can take as little as 3 hours. (I would suggest testing it’s effects on a day off form work so you can determine it’s speed and potency in the privacy of your own home.) Personally, I don’t mind the anise/ licorice flavor of the regular smooth move- it’s pretty mild. I tried the chocolate smooth move (while on the cleanse)- it doesn’t taste like chocolate… not sure what it tastes like exactly but not licorice. However, the chocolate formula was too strong/ effective for me- I think I’ll stick to the original formula.
